General info: Coronavirus – protective equipment status
A high percentage of the production from our primary suppliers, Ansell, Kiiltoclean/Plum, Gundal, 3M and UVEX, must go to hospitals, healthcare professionals etc., which is very understandable.
UVEX and 3M are subject to a recent export ban from Germany for protective equipment within the categories suits, goggles and gloves.
Pressure on many products
This means that there is much pressure on the protective equipment that can be used as protection against the Coronavirus. The protective equipment recommended to reduce the risk of infection is:
- FFP2 and FFP3 masks
- Type 4/5/6 suits EN14126
- Disposable nitrile gloves approved EN374
- Goggles
- Hand disinfectants
Supply situation status
We continue to have reasonable stock within the product categories: disposable gloves, goggles and suits.
We have very large, unconfirmed orders for FFP2 and FFP3 masks and hand disinfectants in all packaging types. We are allocated very reduced amounts compared to the need. This is a force majeure situation, and we cannot give our customers confirmed lead times.
