Product: Conlit Pipe bowl is a hard pipe bowl, which is covered with a grid-reinforced aluminum foil. Particularly good fire insulation properties. Application: Conlit pipe bowls are used to form Conlit fire bushings, which are used for penetrations. Also used for fire protection of steel pipes and rods. Application temperature: Max. operating temperature: 250° C. Resistant to fire, cf. MK approval. Special characteristics: For safety reasons, the foil is clearly marked with the text "Conlit Fire Protection". The current insulation thicknesses have been chosen so that the outer diameter of the Conlit Bushing fits the most common core bore diameters. In addition to the dimensions mentioned here, a number of other dimensions can be supplied, up to Ø 324 mm. Is covered by MK approval 6.10/1675. Thermal insulation: lp=0.039 W/m·K. l10=0.038 W/m·K l50=0.043 W/m·K l100=0.051 W/m·K The product is connected to the VIK thermal insulation control. Application temp.: During normal operation, the product can withstand temperatures up to 250 °C. Fiber melting point is above 1000 °C. Fire: The wool is non-combustible according to DIN 4102 A1. Conlit fire protection is tested according to Nordtest method NT FIRE 021. Water absorption: 1% by volume according to BS 2972:75 Moisture absorption: Approx. 0.004 vol % at 90% RH Dimensional stability: Length expansion coefficient = 0 Shrinkage = 0 Vapor diffusion coefficient: Diffusion coefficient of approx. 0.15 kg/GPa·m·s Specific heat: The specific heat is approx. 0.8 KJ/Kg·K
