Connecting the amplifier unit CA 6474, also called Pylonbox, to the multifunction instrument CA 6472 via a communication cable together provides new possibilities for analysis of a grounding system. Using 4 supplied flexible Ampflex current clamps, each 5 meters long, measurements can be made with up to 4 parallel ground spikes. If it is to be measured on systems with 1, 2 or 3 earth connections, this is easily done with a switch on CA6474.
