An ideal set for identifying earth faults in IT networks as well as measuring leakage current in TN, IT and TT networks. Elma 4000 consists of a 4Hz transmitter (pulse generator), a current clamp and a digital receiver for reading the size of earth fault / leakage current. Elma 4000 can be used with voltage on the system, which makes it ideal for ships and hospitals, for example.
Searching for earth faults with pulse generator:
The generator is connected between an arbitrary phase and earth. The current clamp is connected to the digital receiver and earth fault is read at the measuring point as% of the total earth fault.
