FLIR MR160 is an advanced moisture meter with both needl probe, integrated humidity sensor and infrared detector. The infrared detector in MR160 is showing you, with a blue colour on the display, exactly where in the wall the coldest part is, and where humidity can accur (colour palletten ICE). when you through the LCD display has registered, where there might by humidity problems, will it be easy to measure the current humidity in these places with the instrument. You can either measure with the included needle probe or with the integrated sensor on the back of the instrument.
What is unique on MR160 is the infrared detector - with an ordinary moisture meter you can off course measure on those places you think has humidity problems. With MR160 you are able to, using the infrared view BE SURE ABOUT, that on the display showing a blue colour, there might be a humidity problem, because there is to cold. With MR160 you save a lot of time, because you in advance is able to see, where the humidity is placed, and where you have to do a humidity test.
MR160 is also perfect, if you need to document your applications. The instrument has build-in measuring memory, and the picture on the display, can be saved in BMP format in the instrument. Using the build-in USB port and a included cable, is it easy to transfer the pictures to your PC, where you can store the pictures for later documentation or generating a professional report with the free FLIR Tools software.
