SwemaMan 8 is a robust micro manometer for use in many applications. The instrument is able to, due to its extremly fine resolution, be used in places where you need precise measurement of smaller differential pressures. SwemaMan 8 can also be used for measurement of air velocity and volume flow. By measuring of air velocity, in e.g. ventilation ducts, you use a pitot tube. The duct dimension, round or square, is typed into the instrument and now you just make your measurement. To ensure that flow measurements in ducts are precise is it possible in the instrument to type in a K2-faktor (duct factor), Which is compensating the friction resistance along the duct. SwemaMan 8 also has build-in barometer and socket for type-K temperature probes. SwemaMan 8 can store up to 300 measurements which is stored in the instrument as pages (from 1 to 300). All measurements can be transferred to a PC. You do not have to buy any extra software, Because you use the Hyperterminal, which is standard in Windows systems. Herafter is it possible to either pprint out all your measurements or import them in a spreadsheet. The instrument is delivered incl. batteries, manual, a bag for the instrument and calibration certificate.
