The 3M QTEN Add On kit is used those cases where you need to install a QTEN 72,5 kV termination on a cable with aluminum screen wires. You need this kit in addition to the standard QTEN kit. As the screen wires are in aluminum and not copper they need a special treatment to secure good electrical connection and minimize corrosion.
