Adjust the light intensity to your conditions.
With COAST's RL10 headlamp, you get Variable Light Control technology that gives you lumen control at your fingertips. This is an easily rotating dial on the light head that allows you to gradually increase or decrease the light intensity, peaking at 560 lumens from the white LED chip, from the C.O.B optics, which is a dual color optic. Here you can choose between two LED light colours; White and red.
The white one is for general use and can be adjusted.
To prevent ""night glare"" an anti-glare red LED setting makes it easy to read in the dark or navigate with less reflection.
In addition to these light optics, the RL10 is manufactured with rear-facing red safety light. A red LED safety light that lights up red continuously or flashes red. This is built into the battery housing on the back of the head strap and has its own on/off switch.
The light head can be tilted forward, up and down. With this you can make the directional adjustment you need by adjusting the hinged tilting head to adjust the light cone.
The strap is made of a soft, safe and comfortable material. The strap is adjustable and is robust enough to also be worn on the outside of a helmet if desired. It is easy to use and sits securely and firmly with the help of the head strap's breathable silicone lining.
The RL10 runs on Dual Power which means it can either run on a standard Alkaline battery which is included or a COAST ZITHION-X™ rechargeable battery. The battery pack is located at the back of the head strap.This headlamp is constructed from the highest quality materials, it is IP54 tested for dust and water resistance. It is an extremely robust light and is measured according to the ANSI FL1 standard.
