Long taper lead, approx. 1/3 of cutting length tapered. For all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, for hard and soft plastics. For small batch productions and repairs. For interrupted hole e.g. split workpieces, hole interruptions, intersecting holes and similar. The feed rate is higher than that of the straight-fluted reamer, which generally improves the reaming results. Due to long taper lead not suitable for blind holes.
