There is no heating system that is 100% air tight. Air will enter the plant in different ways, especially when filling water. However, air can also penetrate the plant during normal operation through microscopic cracks in pipes, joints or worn gaskets. Air that is absorbed into the system water is most effectively removed using a microbubble vent. This type of vent differs from a normal vent that only removes larger air bubbles. Removing the air from the plant water increases efficiency, the plant becomes more reliable, the risk of corrosion is reduced while avoiding the unnecessary noise that air in a heating system can cause. In addition, the heating system should no longer be manually vented.
