The new asbestos rules
In January 2025, new stricter rules came into force for the handling of asbestos in Denmark. The new rules mean that demolition and removal of asbestos-containing materials can only be carried out by authorized companies. In addition, there are stricter requirements for equipment and safety measures. This is because working with asbestos requires specialized knowledge to ensure proper and safe handling.
