E297-16-10/230 Installation relay

Installation relays E297 are electromagnetically operated miniature contactors with a width of 18 mm (1 module unit). Reliable consumer control can be designed with these installation relays. The installation relays are usually used via a control switch (permanent contact), where e.g. Lighting, air conditioning, a fan or the like must be controlled. The unit remains in the on position as long as the control voltage is applied to the coil. If the control voltage is interrupted, the installation relay always falls back to the rest position (from position). Thanks to the optimum switching capacity, they are also suitable for applications in industrial environments and in situations where it is necessary to ensure control over stronger consumers (such as multiple lighting groups). Use of an optimized coil (low power loss = lower operating temperature) ensures trouble-free and safe use in the electrical distribution board. The low switching sounds and the hum-free magnetic system also justify use in public buildings and private households. Depending on the type, the installation relays can be controlled with ordinary AC / DC control voltages and are designed for a rated current of 16 A.
