The advantage of these self-resetting short-circuit current limiters S800-SCL-SR is that a continuous flow of current to all downstream switching units is guaranteed, which simplifies group protection. Until now, a separate short-circuit current limiter was used with the S800SCL devices for each socket to be able to guarantee in the event of a fault that all the others except the defective branch continue to operate. This is no longer necessary - now you can protect an entire group of motor protection switches / high-performance automatic devices with just one S800-SCL-SR. Can only be used for approved combinations.
