The XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection, without physical contact, of metal objects. This product is a miniature cylindrical sensor, with a threaded body of diameter 5mm. Lightweight and short, it's the smallest sensor in our offer. It features a quasi-flush mounting format with a longer sensing distance. It has a standard sensing distance of 0,8mm. It is connected by a 2-meter-long cable in PVC, with 3 wires in 0.149 mm². Its case is made of stainless steel 303. The device is particularly well suited to the needs of the material working industry. The sensor is UL-certified. Suitable fixing clamps are available for precise installation. Thanks to its outer thread, it is mountable directly on a surface or fixing clamp. The main advantage of the inductive detection offered by the sensors of the XS range is that there is no physical contact with the object to be detected.
