Macrotest G3 is the first multi function tester in the world with color touch screen, which makes navigation, test and naming the measurements and making notes very easy.
Elma Macrotest G3 is ready for the future and has test of type B RCD´s, build-in fuse tabels, control of I2t, possibility of naming tests directly and communication through build-in Wifi.
The instrument is also able to, if you connect a HT96U current clamp (accessory), measure current and leakage current. It can also be used as a energy analyzor measuring current, voltage, energy, power (1 phase, balanced 3 phase), power factor and harmonical distortion up to 25. Furthermore you can have probes (accessory) for measuring light, temperature and humidity.
With the compact size and large color display Elma Macrotest G3 is perfect for fast and simple test complied to the regulations. Elma Macrotest G3 offers a lot of exiting features, eg. a very user-fiendly help menu with smart connections diagrams directly on the display. The instrument measures all necessary measurements, eg.:
– Low resistance measurement with 200mA – for measuring on protective conductors and equpotential connections.
– Insulation test 50, 100, 250, 500 og 1000V – for measuring insulation resistance.
– Loop impedance phase/phase, phase/zero and phase/earth, with displaying in ohms and calculation of short circuit current in A and kA. For dertermination of Ik min and Ik max.
– With the adapter IMP 57 you are able to measure low impedances in mΩ and high short circuit levels up to 100kA
– Test all kinds of RCD´s, type A, B, AC and selective, 0/180° and displays trip-out time, trip-out current, contact voltage and earth resistance.
– Loop resistance to earth 2-pole without spikes and 3-pole with reference earth spikes (incl.).
– Earth resistance/conductivity 4-pole with 4 spikes (incl.).
– Measures voltage, frequency and phase rotation.
– Memory to 999 measurements, with naming directly on touch screen.
– Optical USB port for PC communication. Software with export to eg. Excel/spread sheet.
– Wifi for easy communication with PC, smartphone & tablet.
– Features for connection of temperature-, humidity- and lux probe.
