This product is part of the XUM range, an offer of miniature photoelectric sensors. A diaphragm (or slit) changes the beam size of thru-beam sensors and focuses the light to detect smaller objects. This product is an round diaphragm for thru-beam sensors, reducing a sensing distance to 0.08m. Using this diaphragm, the minimum detectable object width is 0.5mm. This round diaphragm is made of stainless steel. Its dimensions are 0.5mm (width) x 6.4mm (height) and weighs 0.003kg. This diaphragm is dedicated to XUM2 thru-beam sensors. This diaphragm (or slit) is sold in lots of 2. The diaphragm can be pressed to snap onto the sensor front easily (thru-beam transmitter and receiver). The XUM range is for non-contact sensing up to 30metres of objects of any shape and any type.
