The new 3M ™ Adflo ™ turbo respirator with the latest 3M welding helmets and face shields is a big step forward in welding protection. To improve the comfort of welders, the Adflo turbo respirator now has a Li-ion battery which makes the whole unit almost 20% lighter.
The turbo unit lets air flow through the pre-filter and particle filter (and gas filter when used) to minimize respiratory hazards. The air is then passed through the air hose into the welding screen. The seal in the welding screen, and a constant flow of air from the turbo unit keeps unfiltered air outside the screen.
