Vinyl plastic film with a synthetic rubber adhesive designed for coding, abrasion protection, decoration, sealing, patching, splicing and general purpose applications. Available in transparent and 10 other colours.
Pigmented backings maintain their vivid colours even when exposed to heavy abrasion. Conformability and dead stretch properties are ideal for taping or sealing curved or irregular surfaces. While No. 471 resists most common solvents, care should be taken to avoid ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons and esters. These are found in lacquer, thinners, degreasers, paint strippers etc. No. 471 is one of the best tapes to resist plasticiser migration on plastic surfaces, especially vinyls or others containing migrating type plasticisers.
Backing Pigmented or transparent vinyl plastic.
