AEG Hydraulic Module AS-RHP07-I3-H01 – compact indoor module for a flexible heat pump solution
The wall-mounted hydraulic module is designed for the AEG AS-RHP07 system and is suitable for new installations as well as homes requiring connection to an external domestic hot water solution. It combines key hydraulic and electrical functions in one compact indoor unit and includes 3 + 6 kW electric backup heating and an 8-litre expansion vessel. When using an external domestic hot water cylinder, its heat exchanger must have a heat transfer surface area of at least 1.05 m². A heat transfer surface area of 1.94 m² is recommended for optimal heat transfer and operation.
A buffer tank is required for all installations with the AEG AS-RHP07 heat pump system. It ensures sufficient water volume and stable flow through the heating system, supporting efficient, reliable and stable operation of the heat pump. The 8 and 10 kW AEG AS-RHP07 models require a buffer tank of at least 25 litres, while the 12, 14 and 16 kW models require a buffer tank of at least 40 litres.
Operation is provided via a 4" high-resolution touch panel, while WiFi, Ethernet and RS485 provide flexible system communication. With a sound pressure level of only 19 dB(A), the module is also designed for quiet indoor operation.
