The 3-pole AFZB contactors meet the latest standards for rolling railway vehicles and can be installed in passenger or driver cabs of trains that often run in tunnels or underpasses. You switch circuits with motors, slightly inductive or non-inductive loads. They meet all important standards for rolling stock: IEC 60947-4-1, IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60077-1 / -2 and applicable parts of the standards EN 50155, shock and vibration resistance according to IEC 61373 Cat.1 , Class B. They also achieve the highest levels of fire and smoke behavior when complying with the European standard EN 45545-2 (HL2 hazard levels) for group assembly. The AFZB contactors can withstand short voltage drops and drops (in accordance with SEMI F47-0706). All integrated or retrofitted NC switches are designed as mirror switches according to IEC60947-5-1 Appendix L. They also have built-in protection against overvoltage and do not require any additional extinguishing elements.
