ABOUT THE ANALYSIS
Danish Environmental Analysis sends the analysis report no later than 3 business days after receiving the sample.
Analysis results on material samples are reported as yes/no answers, stating the type of asbestos and
estimated content in percent if asbestos is detected in the sample.
Analysis results on gel tape samples are reported as yes/no answers, stating the type of asbestos if asbestos is detected in the sample.
According to the method description for asbestos analysis, it is Danish Environmental Analysis's position that asbestos is not detected until the type of asbestos has been determined.
All our analyses are always performed by accredited asbestos analyses in materials and gel-tape samples using stereomicroscopy in combination with polarization microscopy with dispation staining for determination of asbestos type according to NIOSH 9002.
