Gear grease is based on a calcium sulfonate thickener with a very high base oil index. The grease is a highly water-resistant lubricant with added MoS2 (molybdenum-disulfide) as well as graphite – these are properties that prolong the durability of the lubricant. Gears Fat is a thin layer when spraying but becomes strong and adherent after penetration. The gear grease prevents corrosion and rust formation even in humid environments, provides extended lubrication intervals and reduces wear and tear. The product does not become stiff after time and preserves pins and chains due to reduced friction. Sprocket fat contains additives that increase the adhesive properties so that the grease is not expelled during operation.
