Bosch magnetite and dirt filters filter the system water for impurities, e.g., particles or small sand grains that originate from filler water. It may also be small parts that can be formed in any heating system during operation, such as parts from gaskets or small metal shavings. Some of the impurities are not visible to the naked eye. These particles down to 5 μm can create the biggest problems in terms of operating disturbances and wear and tear on the plant. If a magnetite and dirt filter is installed in the heating system, all the system water is channeled through this filter and the number of particles in the heating system is reduced. Two strong magnets remove the magnetic particles from the system water, and non-magnetic particles collect, sink to the bottom of the filter and can be removed without problems. When dirt deposits are reduced, the risk of breakdown on pumps decreases, the heat exchanger is protected and energy is saved in the long term, as an unobstructed and constant flow is maintained.
