The TXM55R is the top model in COAST’s industrial TXM series – built for demanding work environments where precision and reliability are non-negotiable. With a rugged aluminum construction, magnetic base, rotating lamp head, and powerful performance in all lighting conditions, it is designed for scaffolding, tunnels, service shafts, night installations, and everything in between.
The patented Pure Beam® optical system with Twist Focus™ delivers an extremely wide and adjustable beam – from Ultra View Flood to BULLS-EYE™ Spot – controlled directly on the lamp without annoying click zones.
The TXM55R features a total of 8 light modes, including low, medium, Turbo Mode, long-lasting Moon Glow, as well as Area Light (high/low) and RED. Turbo Mode activates a temporary boost to full output for up to 40 seconds. With Quick-Cycle™, you can switch quickly between modes with one hand.
The Area Light function on the side of the lamp housing adds an additional work light with CRI90 output that renders colors accurately and diffusely – perfect for close-up tasks. The Area Light can be activated independently and offers both high and low brightness.
In addition, the TXM55R includes a red-light function (RED Area), making the lamp particularly suitable for inspection work, document checking, and use in dark environments where low light signature is important.
The angled lamp head mounts via a Snap-in/Snap-out system and can be tilted forward, removed, and used as a handheld light. The TXM55R comes with both the reflective Ultra-Strap™ and helmet mounting with adhesive pad, allowing you to choose freely between headband use or direct helmet mounting. A pocket clip is included if you prefer quick attachment to a pocket or vest.
The lamp is part of COAST’s Rechargeable Plus series and is powered by the included ZX850 ZITHION-X™ battery, with backup capability via 2 × CR123 lithium batteries. Charging is done directly via USB-C using the built-in Pro-Tek™ charging port, and you can monitor battery status via an LED indicator. The IP54 rating and ANSI FL1 testing ensure resistance to dust, water, and tough environments.
