External PIR sensor for smart and energy-efficient lighting control. Connect Sensor is an external PIR sensor for the SG Connect system, developed to provide smart control of Connect Wireless luminaires while expanding the detection range in larger installations. The sensor communicates wirelessly via Zigbee and can therefore be placed where needed, without being physically connected to the luminaires.
When motion is detected, the lighting in the system is activated and the light turns off after a defined period of time to ensure energy-efficient operation. A daylight function can be activated as needed to maintain the desired light level in the area. Connect Sensor is easily configured in the SG Connect Commissioning App, where times, light level and other parameters are adjusted. It only requires a 230V connection, allowing flexible placement in both new and existing installations. Mounting height up to 8 meters.
