The intelligent Door/Window Sensor II Plus reliably detects open doors and windows and displays their status in the app. It also responds to even small vibrations thanks to its built-in vibration sensor. This makes it a valuable part of the alarm system, triggering an alarm in the event of attempted break-ins or unauthorized opening attempts — even before the door or window is opened.
When the alarm system is armed, it also warns of potential security gaps caused by forgotten windows or doors.
The integrated button offers multiple functions: short and long presses can be individually assigned via the app as triggers for actions or scenarios, and the pause function can be activated with a double-click. This allows you to open a window or door once without triggering an alarm or lowering the heating – practical if you just need to let the dog out briefly.
The intelligent sensor also contributes to energy efficiency: in the “Sustainable Ventilation” service, radiator thermostats in the same room are automatically turned down when windows are open.
When used with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, or Google Home, it can also be combined with compatible third-party products.
