Easter 1 – Rosé & Summerbird Almonds

Lightly roasted Spanish almonds, praline, dark chocolate Amazonas 61%, white chocolate and grated pistachio. Pretty Gorgeous Rosé is a delightful, classic Southern French rosé made exclusively from Cinsault grapes. Cinsault has been cultivated in the region for centuries but has lost ground to international varieties such as Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. However, Cinsault is ideally suited for rosé production. The grapes have skin contact with the juice for around 24 hours, and the wine is fermented at low temperatures to preserve as much fruit as possible. The colour is pale pink, almost peach-like. The bouquet is fresh with notes of freshly ground red pepper. The palate is off-dry, fresh and pleasant, with flavours of red berries such as redcurrant, strawberry and raspberry.
