Basic-coated, core wire alloyed electrode, Especially designed for welding creep-resistant, hardened martensitic 9% Cr-steel. The electrode used for manufacture of turbine- and boiler components in thermal power plants. It has good welding properties in all positions except vertical down, a stable arc, low spatter, good slag detachability and excellent ignition and restriking properties. The chemical composition is optimized to give a high creep-resistant and ductile weld metal and is characterized by low hydrogen content and low level of trace elements.
