The XB4 and XB5 series emergency stop comply with EN/IEC 60204-1, 60364-5-53, EN/ISO 13850 and the Machine Directive 2006/42/EC.
They are available with both turn-to-release and pull-to-release functions and with and without key for resetting.
The pushbuttons are simple to mount in a 22 mm hole and stay in place because of the gasket on the back of the head.
With the rotation nut on the back and the fixation tool (ZB5AZ905) the head is easially secured and the body (ZB5AZ009) is attached to the head with a simple click.
Contacts blocks are attached to the body with a maximums of 4 contact blocks for emergency stop applications.
Harmony XB5 series in plastic are very robust and can be used in a wide range of industries and also the food & beverage industry where the plastic is resistant to cleaning agents.
The protection rating are IP66, IP67, IP69 (ISO) and IP69K (DIN) and the operating temperature can be between -40..70 degrees celcius.
ZB5AS84W2M is an emergency stop head in plastic with turn-to-release function and build-in LED illumination.
The emergency stop head has a square shaped head in red color with a yellow ring for the turn-to-release function.
The build-in illumination has a ring of LED's in red color which is supplied with 230VAC.
With the red color it is easy to identify an activation of the emergency stop even i dark environments.
For ZB5AS84W2M, the seperate body (ZB5AZ009) is used together with the contact blocks (ZBE101 or ZBE102) depending if a make (NO) or break (NC) function is needed.
It is also possible to use the complete bodies assembled with contact blocks (ZB5AZ1xx) in case this is prefered.
For marking, the dedicated ZBY8Lxxx emergency stop legends are designed for use with the ZB5AS84xxx heads.
Mounting in a control station can easially be done with the XALKW01 empty emergency stop control station.
