FireFree® Fire Pad is an intumescent fire protection pad designed for use in wall boxes installed in fire-rated plasterboard walls.
The pad reacts to heat exposure during a fire and begins to expand gradually at approximately 120°C.
It expands more than 6–7 times its original size, effectively sealing the back box and helping to prevent the spread of smoke and fire.

Activates in the event of heat exposure caused by fire
