ROCKWOOL Flex Pipe Bowl (previously called Universal Pipe Bowl) can be installed with virtually no tools as the product easily adapts to the angles, bends and supports of the installation. This is due to the unique structure of the stone wool. Insulation of hot and cold water pipes, steam lines and process pipes. When the pipe bowl is pressed together, its internal structure changes, making it flexible. When installing by bending, the pipe bowl is compressed 2-3 times by the distance required by the bend. When insulating cold water pipes, all joints must be sealed with diffusion-proof tape.
Max. application temperature:
During normal operation, the product can withstand max. 250°C on the wool side.
On the coating side max. 80°C.
Fiber melting point above 1000°C.
