The 3.5" touch-sensitive screen is easy to use, and the thermal resolution of 160×120 pixels gives you accurate non-contact temperature measurement. When you buy the FLIR C5, you also get access to FLIR's new Cloud solution, Flir Ignite. The camera has built-in memory for approximately 5000 images, but if you create a FREE 1GB FLIR Cloud account, the C5 can automatically transfer the images there via the camera's built-in Wi-Fi. This allows you to organize the images into folders and share them with your customers - at the same time the solution a secure backup of your images You can access the images in the FLIR Cloud from all your devices, regardless of where you are - it only requires that you have access to a Wi-Fi network.
Point-and-shoot is the basic idea in the FLIR C5 - the camera is fully automatic and there are no difficult settings. You point the camera at the object, press the shutter button and the images are saved in the memory in JPEG format. The file contains all temperature data for subsequent analysis in the free FLIR Thermal Studio "Starter" analysis/report software, which is of course in Danish. On a PC, you can analyze images and generate reports with the programs FLIR Thermal Studio "Starter" or FLIR Thermal Studio.
