FLIR E5 Pro – User-Friendly Thermal Camera with MSX Technology
The FLIR E5 Pro is equipped with a 160x120 pixel thermal detector and a built-in photo camera. Designed for users who want to get started with thermography without needing a camera packed with complex functions and settings, the E5 Pro is extremely easy to operate.
The core idea behind the FLIR Ex-Series is point-and-shoot operation – the cameras are fully automatic, requiring no complicated settings. Simply aim the camera at the object, press the shutter button, and the images are saved in JPEG format. The file contains all temperature data for further analysis using FLIR’s reporting software, which can be downloaded for free.
The built-in photo camera and FLIR’s patented MSX function enhance the sharpness of thermal images. When MSX is activated, photo details merge with the thermal image, making the display significantly clearer than expected from a camera in this price range. With MSX, it becomes much easier to identify different components in the image, simplifying troubleshooting and analysis.
As an alternative to using the menu buttons, the E5 Pro features a 3.5” touchscreen, allowing for easy navigation through the camera's menu system.
