SITRANS FMS100 FOOD is an electromagnetic flow sensor developed for food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications where hygiene, material compatibility and documented food approvals are critical.
The sensor is supplied in Food Grade design (option J33) and is intended for CIP/SIP processes as well as frequent cleaning and sterilization.
Unlike wafer-mounted industrial sensors, FMS100 FOOD is installed with separate hygienic fittings, which are purchased separately and selected according to the applicable hygienic piping standards.
Food-grade fittings are purchased separately.
Available with weld ends or clamp ends.
Supports common hygienic standards (e.g., DIN, ISO, SMS, Tri-Clamp).
Materials and food approvals (J33):
• Ceramic liner: FDA compliant and EC 1935/2004
• PFA liner: FDA compliant and EC 1935/2004
Meets requirements of EC 1935/2004, EU 10/2011 and GMP.
Delivery and electronics:
Used together with the SITRANS FMT020 transmitter (compact or remote).
