Draka Firetuf OFC-UT-NM is a fire resistant optical cable with unitube and LSHR-FR sheath for indoor and outdoor application in public buildings, tunnels, metro lines and other AS+ environments that require circuit integrity by mantained during a fire.
Suitable for installation in trays, ducts, pipes or ladders – either via pulling or blowing. Also for outdoor installation in free air with UV-protection.
Fire resistance tests: (with no fiber break)
IEC 60331-25: Fire resistant for 120 minutes at 750°C
EN 50200: PH120 fire resistant at 830°C for 120 minutes
EN 50200 Annex E: PH30 fire resistant for 30 minutes at 830°C with impact and water spray.
BS 8434-2: Fire resistant for 120 minutes at 930°C with impact and water spray.
