Harmony biometric switches in the XB5S range are designed to control and secure access to systems and machines by checking users’ authorization through
fingerprint recognition. The product is easialy mounted in a 22 mm hole without any tool and fastened with a nut on the back of the product.
It comes in two different versions, a stand-alone version with buttons on the front for programmering and a USB version for programming in the free XB5S Software.
The biometric switches has RGPD compliance (equalent to GDPR) for strong encryption and privacy.
XB5S8B2L2 is a biometric switch for USB programming with a bistable PNP output with a maximum load of 200 mA.
It comes with a 2 meter cable with 3 wires (powersupply + PNP output).
The biometric switch has a memory of 400 recorded fingerprints from 200 users with either 1 or 2 fingerprints each.
For programming, the Harmony XB5S software is used which makes it easy to add and delete users.
There are 1 LED for indication of the output status on the front
For further protection of the sensor, the protective cover ZB5SZ70 can be added to the biometric switch.
