Harmony biometric switches in the XB5S range are designed to control and secure access to systems and machines by checking users’ authorization through
fingerprint recognition. The product is easialy mounted in a 22 mm hole without any tool and fastened with a nut on the back of the product.
It comes in two different versions, a stand-alone version with buttons on the front for programmering and a USB version for programming in the free XB5S Software.
The biometric switches has RGPD compliance (equalent to GDPR) for strong encryption and privacy.
XB5S6B2M12 is a stand-alone biometric switch with a bistable PNP output with a maximum load of 200 mA.
It comes with a 3-pin M12 connector (powersupply + PNP output) for easy wiring.
The biometric switch has a memory of 200 recorded fingerprints from 100 users with 2 fingerprints each or 200 users with 1 fingerprint.
For programming the stand-alone version are 2 buttons on directly the front and it require no software for programming.
There are 4 LED's on the front of the switch for indication of the actual status and 1 LED for the output.
For further protection of the sensor, the protective cover ZB5SZ70 can be added to the biometric switch.
