The pressure booster system is delivered as a compact unit according to DIN standard 1988/T5.

All pumps are speed controlled.

From 0.37 to 11 kW, the booster set is equipped with CR, CRE, CRI or CRIE pumps with electronically commutated permanent magnet motors with extremely high efficiency. The total efficiency of the motor including the frequency converter applies to the IE5 level of IEC 60034-31.

From 15 to 22 kW, the booster set is equipped with CR, CRE, CRI or CRIE pumps with motors with integrated frequency control. The overall efficiency of the motor, including the frequency converter, exceeds the IE3 level of IEC 60034-31, although this standard only applies to the motor.

Hydro MPC-E maintains constant pressure by continuously adjusting the speed of the pumps.
The system's performance is adapted to demand by switching on/off the required number of pumps and through parallel control of the pumps in operation.
Pump switching is automatic and depends on load, time and faults.
The system consists of these parts:
:vertical, multistage, centrifugal pumps, type CRIE 15-3

All wetted pump parts are in stainless steel EN DIN 1.4301.
Pump bases and cylinder heads are either cast iron/stainless steel (CRI) or cast iron EN-GJS-500-7 (CR), depending on pump type. Other vital parts are in stainless steel EN DIN 1.4301
The pumps are equipped with a maintenance-friendly cartridge seal, HQQE (SiC/SiC/EPDM).
Two stainless steel manifolds according to EN DIN 1.4571
Stainless steel base frame according to EN DIN 1.4301 up to CR 64. Above CR 64, the pumps are placed on a galvanized C-profile frame
One check valve (POM) and two shut-off valves for each pump
Check valves are certified according to DVGW, shut-off valves according to DIN and DVGW
Adapter with shut-off valve for diaphragm tank connection
Pressure gauge and pressure transmitter (analog output 4-20 mA)
Control MPC in a steel enclosure, IP54, including main switch, all necessary fuses, motor protection, switchgear and microprocessor controlled CU 352.
Dry run protection and diaphragm tank available according to the accessories list. Pump operation is regulated by Control MPC with the following functions:

Intelligent multi-pump control, CU 352
Constant pressure control via continuous speed control of each pump.
PID controller with adjustable PI parameters (Kp + Ti).
Constant pressure at set point, independent of inlet pressure.
Slow pressure build-up (to prevent water hammer during start-up).
On/off operation at low flow.
Automatic cascade control of pumps for optimal efficiency.
Selection of min. time between start/stop, automatic pump change and pump priority.
Automatic pump test function to avoid idle pumps getting stuck.
Possibility to assign a spare pump.
Backup sensor option (redundant primary sensor).
Secondary sensor (possibility to switch to another sensor/setpoint).
Multiple sensors (up to 6 sensors to influence the setpoint).
Manual operation.
Possibility of external setpoint influence.
Log function.
Set point ramp.
Possibility of digital remote control functions:

Pumps, pipes, complete cabling and Control MPC are mounted on the base frame. The pressure booster system has been pre-set and tested.

Optional equipment is available for upgrading the pressure booster system.
