Klinger STG is a thermal mass flow meter based on the thermal dispersion principle, which can be used for measuring clean, dry gases.
The STG is available in various versions, but common to all is that the two temperature sensors (elements) are positioned at the tip of an insertion probe, which must be installed at the point where the flow is to be monitored.
This means that the sensor section itself only creates minimal restriction in the piping system, and is therefore well suited for operation at very low pressures.
