The knock-out sleeve is designed to be casted into the foundation structure. It is easily fastened to the casting mold prior to casting. The knock-out plate in the sleeve ensures a tight seal prior to routing the cables. The sleeves are available in three different sizes (100, 150 and 200) and are designed to fit Roxtec UG seals and frames. By getting these sleeves casted in from the start, we can ensure that we have a Roxtec seal or frame that fits when it is time to seal the cables. The knock-out sleeve is ideal for wall thicknesses of 150 mm, but it is possible to extend the sleeve for thicker walls by adding an extension tube in the end where the seal will not be placed. When using the sleeve with an extension tube, sealant or compound shall be applied between the tube and sleeve (Roxtec does not supply this sealant or extension tube).
