Latch lock with interlock.
The lock is predominantly electrically controlled so that it locks automatically after the use of a cylinder/knob or handle, provided there is no impulse or constant signal indicating that it should be unlocked. When the door is closed, the auxiliary latch blocks the door handle latch in the interlocked position. With the electromagnetic locking function, unlocking can be controlled by e.g. access control systems, on/off clocks, fire alarm systems, etc.
The EL582 can be set to either reverse or reverse function. The door handle is electronically controlled. In reverse mode, the door handle only opens when the power is on and does not work when the power is off. In reverse mode, the door handle does NOT open with power on, but when the power is cut off. The lock can always be opened with a key or knob.
