METRO Delta is the future's quiet alternative to an air-water heat pump. The small, wall-mounted heat pump utilizes heat energy from liquid, e.g. brine from the thermonet or PVT panels, to produce hot water, space heating and passive cooling for the home. The heat pump has a capacity of 4.7 kW* and is therefore perfectly suited for smaller homes – terraced houses, homes for the elderly, etc. However, its small size also makes it ideal for converting from gas in small households, as it is not much larger than the stripped-down gas boiler.
The heat pump is powered by R290 (propane), a natural refrigerant with a very low climate impact. R290 has a very small GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 3, which means that each kg of refrigerant only corresponds to 3 kg of CO2 – in comparison with e.g. R32, which has a GWP of 675. With an impressive SCOP value of 6.2*, it produces far more energy than it consumes. It has a refrigerant charge of only 150 g, and can thus be installed in existing buildings without special safety measures.
METRO Delta is designed for use with thermonet (common ground heating), traditional ground heating or roof-mounted PVT panels. METRO Delta can handle temperatures as low as -15°C and as high as 50°C, and can deliver up to 70°C in flow temperature.
METRO Delta is designed and produced in Denmark. This helps to ensure high product quality and gives you access to our skilled, Danish-speaking service team.
*At Brine 5°C, heat 35°C.
