METRO ECO S / METRO ECO S Plus
Domestic Hot Water Heat Exchanger
METRO ECO S and METRO ECO S Plus are wall-mounted domestic hot water heat exchangers for district heating, designed to deliver a stable and comfortably hot water supply sufficient for two showers at the same time. Both models are built to meet the requirements for low supply temperature and can replace most other heat exchangers, making them suitable for both new installations and replacements.
The unit is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 4 bar on the domestic hot water side and is supplied without a pressure equalizer. If no safety assembly is used, a pressure equalizer can be installed externally – but only in systems without domestic hot water circulation.
The integrated S-control automatically regulates the domestic hot water temperature, ensuring precise control even under varying pressure and temperature conditions in the district heating network. Features such as Keep Warm and ECO mode contribute to both comfort and reduced heat loss.
ECO S is dimensioned for standard hot water needs, while ECO S Plus, with its larger exchanger, is recommended for installations with higher consumption. Both models are delivered with insulated casing and comply with the DS452 standard requirements for heat loss reduction.
