Mobil Pegasus 610 is a high-performance gas engine oil primarily intended for the lubrication of modern medium- to high-speed four-stroke engines operating on fuels containing corrosive compounds such as hydrogen sulfide or halogens (compounds containing chlorine, fluorine, etc.). These engines are typically turbocharged and operate under lean-burn conditions where increased manifold pressure restricts the amount of lubricant reaching the valve train, resulting in low oil consumption that can lead to wear of valve guides and valve seats.
