The Mobil Rarus SHC 1020 series consists of exceptionally high-performance oils primarily intended for the lubrication of heavily loaded rotary screw and vane compressors. They are particularly suitable for demanding operations where mineral oil-based products do not meet requirements, such as at high compression temperatures or where extended oil change intervals are desired. These oils are formulated with wax-free synthetic base oils and a highly advanced additive system that provides outstanding resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation, far exceeding that of mineral oil-based air compressor oils.
