This VigilOhm probe is designed to monitor current and identify insulation default on underground / IT electrical networks from the main feeder to the charge level. It has to be associated with our VigilOhm mobile fault locator IMDMFLK1 to enable real time display of the resistance and capacitance. This probe operates under a voltage up to 600V AC/DC Cat III and is composed of a handle, a safety system lock and an openable tore monitoring up to 3600A. The CP50 has been designed for cable up to 44mm of diameter enabling to monitor thin to medium cable with an accuracy of 0.5% to 3%. To use it properly, the cable shall pass through the opening of the probe and the probe shall be fully closed to ensure a good current flow. For more versatility in cable monitoring, the probe IMDCP15 and IMDCP100 can also be used and enable to monitor cable with a diameter of respectively 12mm and 66mm of diameter.
