The Mobilmet 440 series consists of high-performance, non-corrosive straight cutting oils developed for moderate to very demanding cutting operations. They are also suitable as machine tool lubricants and hydraulic oils in non-critical hydraulic systems, thereby avoiding cross-contamination between cutting oil and lubricant. The oils are formulated from high-quality base oils and chlorine-free additives to deliver effective machining performance in a wide range of demanding processes and do not stain ferrous or non-ferrous metals during machining. The oils are light and transparent, making it easy to observe the working area at all times.
