NXT Base IO-Link is the intelligent base in Sirena’s modular Ø50 mm NXT series and is designed for modern production environments where data exchange, flexibility and simple integration are essential. With IO-Link technology, the signal tower becomes an active part of the machine’s communication system, providing access to advanced functions, monitoring and remote configuration.
The base is ideal for machine builders and automation solutions where signalling needs to be integrated directly into the PLC or control system.
Intelligent Communication with IO-Link
Integrated IO-Link technology makes it possible to control all light and sound functions via a single standardised digital connection. Installation requires fewer wires than traditional solutions, reducing both installation time and complexity.
IO-Link also enables continuous monitoring of the device, allowing operating status and potential faults to be registered directly in the control system. This makes maintenance more efficient and reduces the risk of unexpected downtime.
Flexible Configuration
NXT Base IO-Link supports the modular design of the NXT series and can be combined with up to five light modules and one sound module.
The system supports both fixed-colour LED modules and RGB modules, allowing the signalling solution to be easily adapted to different machines, production lines and process plants.

The base is made of impact-resistant polycarbonate and designed for long-term operation in demanding industrial environments.
