SubstiTUBE T8 Advanced Ultra Output connected system comprises of a SubstiTUBE and sensor.
It gives function of DIM down 20% and DIM up 100% of tube luminous flux stated on the packaging. The commands are triggered by physical presence (DIM-UP to max 100%; depends on daylight setting) and lack of presence time-out (DIM-DOWN to 20%). OSRAM connected system does not have offer on/off feature.
Connected tube is equipped with a Zigbee module that wirelessly connects to a sensor network. Without sensor connection, tube will work as a normal tube without features.

The sensors are passive infrared and respond to heat radiated from human body motion. Sensors mount on a ceiling will activate either by people presence or daylight sensing. After a period time where no human presence has been detected, the tube will dim down to 20% of brightness.
