It is easy and quick to install the detector with a simple turn-and-click movement, which saves both time and effort during installation and disassambly. The screwless and easy accessible plug-in terminals make the detector easy to install. Cable relief and installation of the cable cover can be done without using tools.
Reliable detecting range tested according to IEC63180
The Niko P40 and M40 detector series have been tested according to the IEC63180 standard by a third party in a controlled environment. Automatic repeated tests ensure a reliable range.
Functions
• Detection range: Ø37 m at a mounting height of 3 meters
• Includes 3 PIR segments, each covering 120°
• Adjustable PIR sensitivity (4 levels) in 3 x 120°
• One or more PIR segments can be deactivated
• Settings and configuration can be locked with a PIN code
Easy commissioning
• Communication with the main BMS system is done via the DALI-bus
• If the detector is used at a secondary detector, it must be connected to the DALI-bus on the DALI-2 master detector. It will automatically start cummunication with this master without any further commissioning.
• Event log registres the recent configuration changes
Timeless design
The detector has a flat and discreet design making it blend in with the ceiling and fit into any interior. The colour can easily be changed to black simple by replacing the deco ring
